Hermione, Ron, and…. Hermione
August 16, 2009I was with a group of people and we all needed to escape from something. So we all had to ride a wobbly boat and cross black, murky waters. The boat was wide and I sat in the middle of the enclosed part, with small windows on the sides. On my right sat Hermione, though an older version. She’s like younger than I am yet closer to my age. She’s like my really really close friend. On my left sat Ron, slightly younger than the Hermione on my right. Ron seemed more mature and serious than his actual character. He ia also my close friend but not as close as the Hermione on my right. On his left sat another Hermione, but a much younger one, like in her late teens.Occasionally she’s transform into Ginny but most of the time she’s just the younger Hermione.
At some point in the ride, the boat shook and we all grew very afraid. The younger Hermione held Ron’s left hand. I was terrified to so I held Ron’s right hand, thinking no one will think of it in a bad light since we are all close friends and I was understandably scared. That was when I noticed that Ron held a small piece of paper or card on his right hand, and I knew it contained an important message. I didn’t ask what it was about but just held his hand. No one spoke as the bumpy ride continued.
In a few minutes, the boat sailed more smoothly and I let go of Ron’s hand. The younger Hermione stood up and I realized she was just slightly taller than a child and was wearing a very frilly dress. She playfully took my left hand and gently hit my palm, then did the same to my right. She said that was for holding Ron’s hand. Ron didn’t say anything but felt awkward. He knew he didn’t mind if I held his hand and would have preferred if the younger Hermione wasn’t too clingy.
After a while the boat shook a bit again, and the younger Hermione clung to his left arm. With the card still i \n his right hand, he held mine. I gently let go, thinking I don’t want to cause any trouble. I whispered about it to the older Hermione and we somewhat giggled about it. I told her how the younger Hermione became so upset earlier. However, Ron suddenly reached across me and help the older Hermione’s hand, as if it made him feel better to hold either my hand or her hand, instead of the younger Hermione’s hand. I whispered to the older Hermione not to hold his hand because the younger one might hit her because of it, then we giggled and she let go of him.
